Rachel holds an MSc in International Humanitarian Affairs from the University of York, post-graduate certificate in Humanitarian Operations from Oxford Brookes University and BSc in Agribusiness Management from Kenyatta University. Rachel’s experience stems from her roles in both the humanitarian and development sector.
She is a fundraising and partnership development expert, with extensive experience in social inclusion programming, grants and cycle program management East, Central and South Africa. She currently serves as the Director of Institutional Partnerships at Educate! And as a technical advisor for Black Albinism Kenya.
Prior to joining Educate! Rachel was the Institutional Funding Advisor -East, Central & Southern Africa at Sightsavers where she supported country programs in Fundraising and Grant Management. This was preceded by her role as the Regional Business Development Manager (Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania) for Humanity & Inclusion.
