Her key qualifications include a PhD in Nutrition Education; Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition; Master of Education, Home Economics, Education, Bachelor of Education in Home Economics Education; Diploma in Agriculture and Home Economics.
She loves actively participating in community service engagements that has seen her become a Member of Board of Governors of various Secondary Schools in Kenya, Council Member of Kiriri Women’s University, Food Security and Nutrition talks on radio, and various religious organisations.
She has specific experiences on Researches on food security, community nutrition, agriculture nutrition and social protection, she also has teaching experiences as well as extension work in arid and semi-arid areas in Kenya. She has also been involved in various evaluations touching on food security, nutrition, water and sanitation programmes. She also has various publications in researches done individually and with students.
